The MTA is proud to be hosting this year's National Professional Truck Driving Championships

coming up September 16-19.

The National Professional Truck Driving Championships is a four-day long event featuring some of

Canada’s top professional truck drivers.  Drivers representing each of the trucking associations will be in

our city to participate in a number of events, including a written test, defects station, and, of course, the

driving challenge.  Over the course of the four days, there will also be a number of banquets, receptions,

tours and meetings.

We would like to extend an invitation to members of the MTA, to help us celebrate in this event. We

encourage you to come watch the driving challenge during the day on Saturday, September 18 at the

Canad Inns Stadium.

Following the day’s competition, we will wind up the event with the Driver Awards Dinner, where the

day’s top winners from each category will be presented with their awards at the Canad Inns Polo Park.
